Reviews and Ratings
This hotel is a true gem, surrounded by lush gardens and offering a serene environment that feels like a sanctuary. The accommodations are beautifully designed, and I loved the personalized dining experience, especially as a vegetarian. However, navigating the property involves a lot of stairs, which may be challenging for some guests. Plus, while the service was mostly excellent, there were moments that showed room for improvement in staff training.
My family and I had an incredible stay surrounded by breathtaking nature, with spacious and comfortable accommodations. The service was outstanding, especially our butler Antonio, who made our experience unforgettable. However, some areas could use a little updating, and we wish we could have participated in more of the offered excursions. Overall, it was a fantastic getaway in a stunning location, right next to nature.
Staying at the hotel added an unforgettable touch to my visit to Machu Picchu, with luxurious accommodations surrounded by natural beauty. The rooms were lovely and spacious, and the dining experience was truly delightful. However, the property is built on a slope which means navigating many steps, and it's important to be mindful of the distance to the main bus line.
I had a great experience at the hotel overall, with excellent staff who were quick to respond to requests. However, the dining situation left a bit to be desired, particularly in terms of service speed and accuracy. The breakfast buffet was quite good, but my dinner experience did not match that quality. The location is fantastic for accessing Machu Picchu, which is a huge plus, but the noise from nearby trains was a downside during my stay.
This hotel serves as a fantastic base for exploring the Sacred Valley, featuring beautiful grounds and excellent service. The hot water bottles in the beds were a delightful touch, making the stay cozy. However, the shower could be problematic with its temperature control, and certain areas of the grounds are only accessible via guided tours, which can be limiting.
Staying at Inkaterra Eco Lodge was a fantastic experience with luxurious rooms and attentive service. The location is serene and surrounded by nature, making for a truly peaceful getaway. However, it's worth noting that the lack of air-conditioning might be a concern for some, and the dining options could be more diverse. Overall, it's a great splurge for a memorable time in the Andes.
My stay at Inkaterra was a wonderful experience, offering a peaceful retreat after an adventurous day at Machu Picchu. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the bus stop and train station, and the spacious suite was a fantastic treat with its private plunge pool and fireplace. However, the bathroom lighting was quite poor, making it difficult to get ready, and the temperature in the room could have been cozier during the chilly nights. Overall, it was a great value for the price with some notable highs and lows.
I had a fantastic stay at this unique eco-lodge nestled in the rainforest. The setting is stunning, and I loved the privacy of the individual lodges. The restaurant offered delicious traditional dishes, though the service could be hit or miss. Overall, it's a wonderful spot to explore the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, but be prepared for a bit of a trek to get there with your luggage.
The hotel is surrounded by beautiful, lush grounds and offers excellent dining options. The rooms are nice, though some aspects like the key situation, fireplace smell, and lighting could use some improvement. The service is attentive and the setting is conveniently close to shopping and the train station.
